I’ve been plastering the word “unschooling” around Philadelphia and having a fun time doing it. Starting in January 2016, I’ve been leading discussions about “What is Unschooling” in bookshops, baby stores, living rooms, cafes and libraries. The audiences have included curious parents and teachers, people of all ages, homeschoolers and unschoolers, eavesdroppers and passers by. This has been a great opportunity for unschoolers to meet other unschoolers, for people to hear about unschooling, and for a general discussion not only about how people learn, but about what makes life truly worth living.
